Romantic stay in vintage circus wagon

Located in the South West of Groningen, this romantic circus wagon is the perfect accommodation for a wonderful night or weekend getaway.

The wagon can be booked for two to three people. Inside, you will find a lovely double bed and a single bed. In the garage, right next to the wagon, you can use the bathroom with your own shower and toilet. There is also a lovely veranda where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the weather, but you also have access to the conservatory near the wagon (see photos).

The owners of this B&B work in the event industry and have created a place with love and atmosphere where you can: relax, sleep late into the day (or sleep through the night), go for walks, read in the hammock, make a fire indoors or outdoors, have endless cups of tea and coffee in the outdoor kitchen, and relax with your beer and/or wine in your own cooling pantry! Is it raining? Then retreat to the nice wagon, put on a vinyl record, and relax. Staying in this accommodation is as good as contactless.

Do you want to unwind even more during your stay? Then you can book the (barrel) sauna for €35 per day.

What is there to do in the area?
Are you done relaxing in the hammock? Then you can rent paddleboards at the bed and breakfast for a water trip to the nearest village. You can also go cycling the old-fashioned way on a tandem bike with a picnic basket and just settle down somewhere in a meadow or on a dike (Niehove, Zoutkamp and Lauwersoog and the nature reserve of Lauwersmeer are nearby). If you're looking for something more dynamic, Groningen is just around the corner. The train station Grijpskerk is 10 minutes by bike and the running train brings you to the heart of Groningen within 15 minutes (2x per hour). By car, it is a 20-minute drive. In Groningen, there are all kinds of interesting place: For example, visit the Groninger Museum, The Groninger Forum, Galerie Noorderlicht or one of the many nice stores or restaurants where you can settle at a terrace and enjoy the hustle and bustle of this quaint town.
