About this accommodation

This magnificent medieval tower was built in the period 1358 - 1390 when the Zeeland town of Veere was granted city rights. The tower had to protect the port of Veere and was part of the fortifications erected at strategic locations around the town. From the 15th, the tower and the main building were also used as a city inn, making it, according to tradition, the oldest existing inn in the Netherlands. Because even today you can still come here for a unique overnight stay.

The combination of a great view over Lake Veere and the bustle of passing yachts make this the ideal place to enjoy and unwind. The room is located on the second floor, above the Restaurant and is suitable for 2 -3 persons. So ideal for a romantic overnight stay to celebrate something. From the room you have a view of both sunset and sunrise. The suite consists of one large room with a separate bathroom. You sleep in the middle of the room on an extra-large bed, large double mattress 200×210 cm. Veere is one of the most beautiful towns in Zeeland and is located right on Lake Veere. The richly laden ships with wool from Scotland have given way to pleasure yachts in the harbours.
