Glamping tent overlooking the river (5p)

This cosy nature campsite on a river in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is located in the French Alps. The campsite is perfect for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. In the beautiful surroundings of the campground are wild mountain streams, canyons, tranquil mountain lakes, forests, rocks and peaks over 3,000 meters high. Whether you come for relaxation and laziness or just active pursuits, you'll be right here! Enjoy hiking, biking, or venture into the exciting rafting on the river next to the campground.

The tent
Convenience, luxury and comfort... that's what you'll find in this 5-person glamping tent. The tent is fully equipped and all you need to bring is your clothes, toiletry bag and good mood. Take a break from your daily life and enjoy the peace and quiet or the liveliness of the campsite. Inside the tent you will find a complete kitchen with tables and chairs and comfortable beds. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator with freezer, kettle and coffee maker.

In the tent you will find two nice bedrooms separated by a wall. The bedrooms can be darkened with curtains. In one of the bedrooms, there is a large four-poster bed for two persons and in the other bedroom there is a bunk bed. For a fifth person, there is a full-size folding bed. The beds are two meters long and suitable for adults and children. You can store your clothes in the large closet in the living area. Outside, you can eat or relax at the large table or on the nice lounge chairs. With a height of 3.3 meters, the tent feels wonderfully spacious.

The campsite
The campsite is located on a fast-flowing mountain river. You can perfectly raft in this river, but you cannot swim in it. The campground does have a separate swimming and play pond, in which you can swim. Here is also a small boat, which everyone can use. In this natural water you can swim and children can play in the playground with sandy beach. There is also a small but heated outdoor swimming pool on the campsite. The cosy bar with terrace is the centrepiece of the campsite. Here you can enjoy a snack and drink overlooking the river. At the bar you can order daily bread for the next day and on the terrace you can use the Wifi connection (due to the location of the campsite at 935 meters altitude the internet is limited). Once a week hikes are organized and you will receive a packed lunch upon request.

The surroundings
The surroundings lend themselves perfectly to beautiful hikes. Walk for example to Les eaux Tortes in the valley of the Laverq, to the Lac d'Allos via the footpath over the Col de la Cayolle, to the Lac d'Oronaye and the Lac du Roburent all the way in Italy. In the town of Barcelonnette (10 minutes by car) there is plenty to do. Among other things, you will find nice shopping streets with all kinds of nice boutiques, (music) festivals, cosy terraces and intimate restaurants. Or take a day trip to Nice (3 hours) on the Côte d'Azur. A visit to the Mercantour National Park is also highly recommended.
