Forest cabin w/ cozy fireplace & large garden

In this charming forest cabin in the Drents -Friese Wold you are one with nature from the first moment. Large windows where you can see the birds and squirrels scurrying in the large woodland garden. A mega forest garden of over 2,200m2 with heather, moss, large firs and everywhere you look rhododendrons. Terrace on east and south. Dining table with chairs and lounge area.

Inside you will find good box spring beds with MATT mattresses and eco comforters and bed linen for ultimate relaxation. There are 2 bedrooms. 1 Bedroom with a 2 bed (160x200) and a bedroom with a 2 bed (160x200) that can also be used as 2 single beds of 80x200. Furthermore, the cottage has a nice sitting area with wood stove and separate corner to watch TV. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space to make a delicious meal. And lots of games, (birding) books, a bluetooth radio and fiber optics. Finally, a toilet and bathroom with shower, large mirror, towel radiator and sink and cabinet.
Blackout curtains for when it is early light. Mosquito nets in times when there are possibly mosquitoes.

One pet is allowed

There are other holiday homes nearby, but because of the location and large plots you will enjoy plenty of peace and privacy.

The surroundings
In the immediate vicinity of the forest cabin are countless beautiful walks and bike rides. The cosy villages of Diever, Vledder, Dwingeloo, Appelscha and Frederiksoord are nice to visit and have good restaurants and cafes. If you prefer to visit a somewhat larger city, you can be in Assen or Emmen within 15 minutes, and in Groningen within half an hour. Is the weather nice and you want to enjoy the water? In about 30 minutes you are in Giethoorn where you can rent a boat to discover the Venice of the North.
