Delightful B&B in a small castle

The history of this little castle in Belgium goes back to 1866. A family of large landowners had a spacious house built in the park. In 1920, the son of the first owner added two corner turrets and battlements to the house, giving it the beautiful appearance of a small castle.

As of March 2014, a small-scale bed & breakfast has been established in the inhabited castle.

This beautifully decorated room has a total area of 30 m². It is located on the second floor of the castle and is accessible through the stairs. The room has a double box spring, a seating area with table, a television, and a luxury bath with a shower, a sink, and a toilet.

For an additional fee, a single bed for a child up to 12 years old can be added to the room.

On the ground floor there is a breakfast room (which is also a reading room with a TV) and a billiard room available to guests. An infrared sauna has been installed in one of the two towers. In the summer (1/06 - 30/09) you can use the covered and heated swimming pool in the garden, where you can enjoy this oasis of peace. The B&B is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The B&B is situated in rural Doomkerke in a park of 1.5 hectares, on the edge of a nature reserve with many walking and cycling routes. The art cities of Bruges (21 km) and Ghent (35 km) are easily accessible by the motorway and railroad.
