Sleeping among sheep in a wine barrel

Are you looking for a unique place to spend the night in a special environment? Then come and sleep in this old wine barrel that has been converted into the smallest Tiny House in the Netherlands. You will spend the night on a property with free-ranging farm animals, such as pigs, chickens, sheep and the donkey 'Koen'. For breakfast, you may collect your own egg from the henhouse (provided the chickens are not breeding). On this terrain in Gelderland, you will find a number of other special accommodations. Your neighbors are the guests of the tipi, the circus wagon and another wine barrel.

The wine barrel
The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and has 2 single beds which can also be converted into a double bed (140cm wide). Beds and towels are included. Also, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses and a coffee maker are provided. Storage space for bags or suitcases is provided via a hatch under the floor. On the veranda in front of the wine barrel, you can relax and watch the animals scurrying around in good weather. A unique experience. There is a BBQ and a small fridge with a washbasin, both built into whiskey barrels. The shared shower, outdoor pool, dishwashing island and toilets can be found 10 meters away.

Surroundings
This accommodation is located in a beautiful area with many nice possibilities for trips nearby. In summer, for example, you can cool off at the Waalstrand beach (500 meters). If you prefer to visit a nice town, you can reach Tiel within 10 minutes by car. Here, you can find nice stores and terraces. The Ouwehands animal park in Rhenen is about 30 minutes from this accommodation.
